Hakim Pitts

Hakim Pitts (they/them/she/we) is a multi-award-winning Black genderqueer creative, scholar, and interfaith minister. As the founder of DreamwithHakim, a faith-based social enterprise, they weave together community healing, Africana religious traditions, cultural strategy, and creative coaching to support Black queer and trans communities. Hakim is currently pursuing graduate theological studies at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology through the La Mesa Academy. Their work spans public health, media, education, and the arts, offering spiritual care, thought leadership, and consulting for individuals, organizations, and brands committed to justice and transformation. Featured in the Philadelphia Tribune, Rolling Stone, BET, and Netflix, Hakim builds bridges between spirit, scholarship, and social change, dreaming toward liberated futures.
