Clayco, Senior Vice President
Sandra Marks is Senior Vice President and part of the Executive Team for Clayco. She addresses external areas of outreach, alignment of community resources and impactful improvement of the design and construction industry—locally and nationwide.

In December 2020, Clayco announced the official launch of Clayco Rising, the company’s all-encompassing Culture, Economic Impact, and Inclusion program. As a corporate inclusion pioneer, Clayco brings together a robust variety of barrier-breaking measures enhanced within the organization over the past 25 years to drive a more equitable future in design and construction.

Prior to joining Clayco in 2015, Sandra was CEO/Founder of Marks and Associates, providing supplier inclusion program development and management, small business and entrepreneurial training, and data management to a broad range of corporate clients, including Washington University in St. Louis, BJC Healthcare, and Clayco. Teamed with Clayco’s founder and CEO, Bob Clark, Sandra continues to integrate her approach to small business development and serves as a thought leader serving on several advisory boards.

Sandra is a graduate of the University of Missouri St. Louis and received her Master in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis. She was recently inducted into the Distinguished Alumni Association of the University of Missouri St. Louis and was recognized as one of the Top 25 Most Influential Women in St. Louis. She is also a proud member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

She is married to Cozy W. Marks, III, has two adult children, and six grandchildren and resides in St. Louis, Missouri.
