Demetria Bivens is a dynamic entrepreneur, construction professional, and advocate for equitable opportunity in the trades. She is the founder of DLB Contractors, a certified trade partner that has been successfully self-performing commercial and industrial painting projects across North Texas for the past four years. Her company is known for its commitment to quality workmanship, integrity, and workforce development.

In addition, Demetria leads DLB Consultants, a certified minority- and woman-owned firm specializing in business development, safety consulting, and MWBE coordination. She currently serves as Executive Director of the National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC) DFW Chapter, where she works to expand access and advocate for small, minority, and women-owned businesses within the construction industry.

Demetria holds a Master Certificate in Construction Management from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a graduate of the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth’s Minority Executive Program. Her mission-driven leadership continues to inspire economic inclusion, generational wealth building, and sustainable partnerships throughout the DFW region and beyond.
