Chris Nalls is the founding attorney of Nalls Davis. Chris has a multifaceted practice that focuses on business law, commercial real estate, and economic development.

Chris represents business owners, developers, contractors, and public entities in transactional and regulatory matters. Chris has provided counsel on transactions valued at more than $500 million. His representative matters include: real estate projects; infrastructure development; zoning and land use proceedings, business mergers & acquisitions; and commercial disputes.

Chris was selected by the Dayton Business Journal for its Forty Under 40 class of 2022, and the National Black Lawyers Forty Under 40 in Washington DC, class of 2016. Further, he has been featured in the Dayton Business Journal and the Washington Energy Report. He served as a panelist for the Cincinnati Black Developers Conference, Launch Dayton Startup Week, and the National Association of Real Estate Brokers Black Wealth Building Tour.

Chris is an alumnus of the Urban Land Institute Real Estate Accelerator Lab and a graduate of the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Dayton Program. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Miami Valley Urban League and the Board of Directors for Parity Inc.

Chris began his legal career as an attorney at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and later worked at large corporate law firms in Ohio and Washington, DC. Chris received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. from the University of Dayton. He resides in Dayton with his wife (Victoria Nalls) and his daughter (Victoria Nalls II).
