Bryant L. Francis, C.M., originally from Harrisburg, PA is an Aviation Industry veteran with 29-years of experience in Airport Management. His lifelong passion for aviation led him to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aviation Management. He joined the City of Cleveland as Director of Port Control in 2023, where he leads a team of nearly 400 and is responsible for the operation of two City-owned & operated airports as well as the City's Downtown-adjacent Maritime interests along the shores of Lake Erie. Francis and his team are preparing to transform the guest experience of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport with a $1.6 Billion terminal modernization program. Prior to joining the City of Cleveland, Francis spent 7 years as Director of Aviation for the Port of Oakland in Northern California. He previously served as Airport Director of Long Beach Airport in Southern California as well as Director of Airports for the Shreveport Airport Authority in Louisiana. Francis is active with several of the largest industry associations, including the American Association of Airport Executives and Airports Council International - North America. He is also a member of the Aerozone Alliance Board of Directors, which was established to promote economic development and related job growth in and around Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
