Dan Moncrief, III is a NAMC Regional Vice President and the current President of the NAMC Central Ohio Chapter. He is a dedicated leader in advancing minority business opportunities in the construction industry. For over a decade, he has served as President & CEO of McDaniel's Construction Corporation, Inc., a leading Ohio-based firm specializing in heavy highway construction, commercial renovations, asphalt paving, and environmental services. Under his leadership, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Mr. Moncrief’s expertise spans organizational management, strategic planning, contract procurement, marketing, and financial oversight. His commitment to community and industry advocacy has positioned him as a key voice for minority business development. He co-founded OBAAO (Ohio Businesses Which Are African American Owned), the Buckeye Contractors Association, and the Urban Business Professional Association, playing a vital role in legislative efforts such as the reinstatement of Ohio House Bill 584.

His dedication has earned notable recognition, including the 1998 Advocate of the Year Award from UBPA, the 2000 Minority Business of the Year Award from the City of Columbus Equal Business Opportunity Commission, and is also a NAMC Hall of Fame Award recipient.
